Brenda Dewitt Obituary
Brenda Lee (Hixenbaugh) Dewitt, 61, of Kingwood passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 in Morgantown. She was born April 30, 1962 in Kingwood, WV, a daughter of the late Harold Milton Hixenbaugh and Sarah Faye (Funk) Hixenbaugh.
Brenda was a homemaker, an active church member at Glorybound Tabernacle, and she loved to sing.
Brenda is survived by one daughter, Misty Keener and husband Aaron, of Reedsville; one son, Tommy Calhoun Jr., of Pittsburgh; one brother Delmas Hixenbaugh, of Rowlesburg; seven sisters, Wilma Mayne, Linda Likens, Bonnie Hixenbaugh, Kathy Hixenbaugh, of Rowlesburg, Dorothy Hixenbaugh, Patricia Hixenbaugh, of Kingwood, and Nancy Henline, of SC; and five grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, David Dewitt; and one brother, Ron Hixenbaugh.
Friends may call at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, WV 26537 on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 12pm until the time of funeral service at 2pm, with Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Kingwood Pike, Morgantown.
